Jammie King, D.M. has graciously offered to forward me a consignment of Jammie Dodgers (as did KT). The JD King has my address and I'm preparing to craft new limericks on my Jammie Dodger experience.

We had a fire drill at work today. Apparently we are helping the local fire brigade with their training.
There were fire engines and ladders and hoses and everything!
Unfortunately I had tons of work to do - I was allowed the afternoon off today providing that I finshed one really important...

Y'know it occurs to me that we should be due for our first Jammie Anniversary sometime soon. It's kinda hard to tell when the bored thread first appeared on UA (on account of being deleted), but this thread, which appeared at about the same time time seems to indicate that it was the beginning of J...

I had a spider join me inside my bikini top yesterday. It freaked me out so much that while I was frantically trying to flick it out I ended up squashing it. Eeeeeeeeeeeeew - instant shower time!

I spent all day at a conference yesterday in which they announced a complete restructure of my department. It's a very good restructure except for one minor niggly thing. I'm being moved from a team based entirely in Bristol to a new, larger team which is based in erm.... &n...

I have a new kettle
(Preview)
Thought I'd share. My mother broke my old one (well, she says she didn't but she used it, it worked, she was the next to use it, it didn't). My new kettle is silver & shiny & boils really fast. It strikes me I have a lot of shiny things.

(Preview)
I've just been shopping at TESCO (nothing wrong in a harmless bit of advertising - it's not Big Brother you know) and I've bought you all a pressie to share - A packet of mini jaffa cakes.
There's plenty to go around, so no need to push.
If there's any left (!) I'll have to bring them into work o...
