I spent all day at a conference yesterday in which they announced a complete restructure of my department. It's a very good restructure except for one minor niggly thing. I'm being moved from a team based entirely in Bristol to a new, larger team which is based in erm.... well a third of it's based in Bristol, a third in London and a third in Birmingham. Oh and our manager will be based in Andover. To clarify this for you:
Ah - the joy of restructure - someone, somewhere decided that they wanted to work more from home didnt they? hmmm? go on - whoever it was admit it!
I have to say though DD that you did a jolly fine job of the map - can you email just the map of the country to me? I want to try something........ sniff sniff.....

The new manager is coming down to see us all this week, but he can't come when we're all in the office can he? Oh no. Instead I've been invited to make a special trip into Bristol on one of my non-working days to meet him. That's soooooo thoughtful. And because I can't make it, who will that reflect badly on I wonder???
