My PC has been infected by f******************ing Spyware & adware  cr*************p.  Can anyone recommend a free software down load site that won't risk making the matter worse? (D - thanks for the site address of the ones you recommended - I've mailed you about this separately)


To tell you how bad it is I have Norton Anti Virus software installed to remove popups successfully.  Since this attack every time I look at a new internet page I receive a popup advertising anti spyware software which would presumably make matters worse if I clicked on it.  When I logged on just now I got 10 separate popups!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!


Please help me before I go completely crazy.

I just dun a system restore to before the problem started & now it's gone.  I know it won't stop the next attack, but at least the blasted popups have gone.
