RIP! Chef!
(Preview)
Sad to say Isaac Hayes, best known to people my age as providing the voice for chef on South Park, but actually a legend for having co-written great songs like "Soul Man" and "Hold on, I'm coming" which were brilliant. RIP dude - 65 is too young to go!

Can you hear anything?
(Preview)
So there's this thing where people see colours when they listen to music and stuff like that and it has a very long and quite unpronounceble name.
Anyway, some scientists have made this video and people who have it can supposedly hear sounds as they watch it.

How cool is this?
(Preview)
I know I come across as anti-social sometimes and often pointing out the things that wind me up - so here is a story about a very cool guy http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/7542404.stm I love people like this - he just 'got it done' - and I really admire him for that.

We all know they suck, but do we know just how much. I have decided to conduct a highly scientific study, using the above poll.

Coffee Revels
(Preview)
Yes, yes. I know it's just a marketting campaign to get me to buy more Revels, but it seems that someone wants to get rid of those nasty pseudo coffee flavoured revels.

It's madness. They can't take the coffee one away as it would render the Revel...

Sick Days
(Preview)
So, a member of my team has just had 3 days off 'sick' because she had two teeth removed and her mouth hurt. Now that's fine and I wouldn't normally have a problem with it, but the reason she had 2 teeth removed was not because there was something wrong with them but to allow space for a brace to straighten he...

A thread about TV
(Preview)
I know it's fashionable to moan about all the crap that's on TV at the moment - reality shows, property shows, makeover shows and so on, but actually, I've been finding that there's loads of great TV on as well! Some of it takes some finding, but it's there all the same!
So here's my favourite couple o...

So with a few notable exceptions, we all love the smell of a barbeque or a bacon sandwich or whatever our favourite foods are. Some people even like the smell of pot noodles.
