Well it seems that the electric company lied about when I should get my electricity back...


 


... but since I got it back 20 minutes ago, I'm not complaining


 


The AC is on, the coffee is brewing, the cable is working... and I'm about to jump into my first hot shower in many many days.


Ahh yes. Life is good and I feel human again.

Ivan didn't come anywhere near us (thank god!) It hit the panhandle. I hear my mom got hit with it yesterday in NY.

Jeanne headed east away from FL.

And thank god too! I needed a break!

Hey - re Jeanne.


Leah was in Dominican Republic last week when Jeanne hit.  She said it was very scary and they ended up walking around up to their knees in water, the hotel was wrecked and the there were ducks swimming up the path that goes round the complex!
