It's OK, he was a wild mastadon, who lived a happy life.  He was killed by a sniper, with a single bullet to the head & died instantly & with no idea what was coming.  Had he have lived another 2 hours he would have discovered his parents had both just contracted a particularly virluent, and in fact lethal, strain of flu & his wife had run off with a woolly mammoth, taking their 3 kids.
