I may have to track down a cheap copy just to see how bad this really is...

JAWS - what can I say? That looks like possible the worst game I have ever seen.


As for 2142 I was put off by the masses of Adware in it - I understand it actually advertises products through pop ups during the game! Lots of people have complained about that...

Maybe that's what's crashing my system - I've never seen an advert in-game pop-up so maybe the advert's popping up is causing the crashing.

I didn't think it was a pop-up issue but that it was just that there was a lot on in-game advertising - billboards posters and branded stuff.  Nike machine guns and pepsi smart bombs and so-on.


Advertising in games.  Seems to be an increasing phenomenon.  I don't have an issue with product placement as a concept.  Only when it's over done and out of context.
