Actually 'twas a sandwich toaster.  A very kind gift from the Stead, whom I shall revere for all of eternity as the Giver Of Toasties.

Sweet?  Really?  Personally I much prefer savoury toasties.

Nono... don't feel bad. You see, I want to be as cool as you who already owns them, so logically, you would have to have more of a life than me.

Link back to the homepage, just above the Google search, even more cool, no more endless scrolling.

Ermm, OK, so admittedly never knew that!  Mind, I just remembered huge discusions on putting links at the bottom to save scrolling at UA (thrilling place that it is!) & it was never mentioned, so I guess I'm not alone.  Honestly not really any easier than scrolling on my laptop though (assuming I'm using the mouspad at the time), cos they're opposite corners of the keyboard.

Really?

Don't you have a ctrl key on the left of your keyboard and the right side?

I type with two hands, so the relative position is a non-factor me.

Nope, just on the left!  Slightly smaller than a standard keyboard, which they've acheived by missing out a few superfluous keys.  If I'm down the bottom of a post then my right hand's likely to be on the mouespad, not the keyboard & the home key's just out of reach without moving my whole hand (whadayya mean "lazy"?  Moi?).  Curled up in an armchair is possibly not the approved position for computer use, I could see these things would be easier sat at a desk!

Yup.  I had the same issue, hence the cunning link placement.  Can't be arsed to move my finger the 5 inches from the mousepad to the 'home' button.  Too much effort.

I just found hout how to force a page refresh after a set period... so I've added the html tag with a refresh rate of 300 seconds.  I like to play.  Tell me if it's annoying and I'll whip it out again!.... erm - and the html!
