The following Dodgers have been smited by the JDK for their crimes against Jam:
All the girls! for picking on the JDK and damaging his already delicate self esteem!
The Basserd Who Nicked Copper's Stuff For the offense of nicking Copper's stuff. You are a tw*t, whoever you are and we all hope you get run over by a tram in Nottingham. Or Liverpool. Or whereever else they have trams!
Copper For the crime of playing with her Wii instead of her Jammie pals!
Sorry to flame the ladies, but, erm, what's going on?
I went to my buddy's to watch the big Twins vs. Yanks game, and they're having a big inning, 2 on, on the corners and no outs... My buddy's girlfriend announced she was leaving right in the middle of potentially huge inning! Fine, slip out the door. But no, I'm parked behind her...
Damn right I flamed her, right there on the spot!! I don't know her at all, and did not care, I asked her "Erm, wtf, are you really leaving right in the middle of this inning?!"
My buddy couldn't believe I hammered her, pretty much a stranger, like that... But he couldn't argue with it either, he was laughing his ass off!! She didn't even try to defend herself... And rightfully so!!
So it begs the question, having seen this sort of thing before, do all women do this? The timing is not strong in this one, from my perspective, at least...
Just a test me old matey, she wanted to see if the game was more important than her. In her mind, its just a stupid game so why shouldn't you drop it in a second to help her out. I guess maybe she was trying to see if her boyfriend would side with her?
Indeed. Your buddy could be in an awful lot of trouble for his reaction. It ain't just girlfriends though. It's mothers, grandmothers, sisters, small female relatives, passing female strangers, nuns... you name it. I've had much experience of this behaviour in the past (not recently, thankfully) and can confirm that it is, in the main part, pre-planned and of malicious intent.
And for the female perspective: Is she particularly dumb? I mean yes, I'd leave half way through anything I wasn't into, but I'd also have the decency not to try & drag away someone who was into it.
If it makes you feel any better, I'd probably never go over t someone's house to watch a game of any sort :) Thereby eliminating the need for me to leave in the middle
