Turns out that dogs can't drive

Heh.

Woman Crashes While Teaching Dog to Drive

BEIJING (Aug. 28) - A woman in Hohhot, the capital of north China's Inner Mongolia region, crashed her car while giving her dog a driving lesson, the official Xinhua News Agency said Monday.

No injuries were reported although both vehicles were slightly damaged, it said.

The woman, identified only be her surname, Li, said her dog "was fond of crouching on the steering wheel and often watched her drive," according to Xinhua.

"She thought she would let the dog 'have a try' while she operated the accelerator and brake," the report said. "They did not make it far before crashing into an oncoming car."

Xinhua did not say what kind of dog or vehicles were involved but Li paid for repairs.

Presumably they banned her from driving for life?

This has been verified, internationally!

"Our subsequent investigation indicates that the dog was possibly celebrating the Canadian victory in the hockey game, knocked the truck into gear, and it rolled down the hill," said RCMP Sgt. John Sutherland.

Excellent.  Although I feel that this warrants further study.  We should get a grant.  Lets see if breed makes a difference.  Or if other domestic pets can drive - such as cats, rabbits and hamsters.

Katie, you are about 6 months younger than me (just a guess based on your age, I just turned 26 in on the 14th), must just be the fact that you were not an SNL fan growing up

Go Rabbit ears, actually I don't have cable right now either although I did growing up. I think we have about 6 channles (12-15 in all but most are home shopping and church )
Yeah the Toonces sketches were in late 80's/early 90's of SNL I think.
