RE: Whoah

I normally get carded (asked for id) for buying cigarettes. The minimum legal age is 18!

I went to buy some in Arizona, and the lady at the gas station drilled me with questions regarding my id as she thought it might be fake!!

I'll be getting my senior citizen's bus pass soon.

Well sooner than everyone else here.

Ugh I get that with everything.

My license still has the same picture on it from when I got my permit (I was 16!). My face looks the same, but my hair color/cut tends to change once a month or so. One time after an extreme "Is this really your license?" drill, the lady STILL didn't believe it was me and told me she was going to sell me the bottle of wine but "just this once!" as if she was doing me some big favor. Like I couldn't go next door and buy it.

She told me if I was going to change my hair color/cut, I should get a new picture on my license. Ugh, please! That's almost 100 seperate licenses I'd need to get!

Hoping my editing may have cleared the first bit up for you Nate!

"Made up" is an expression I've picked up from Scouse-land (are you going to need a definition of Scousers too?), see here: http://www.pettitt.fsnet.co.uk/Dictionary/M.htm (tell you, that looks useful, I shall have to study it!).  I wore no make-up to the cinema.

Not fair.  How come you get to be allowed to edit.  And KT.  Am I not to be trusted?

That did help! Ok you were stoked. I thought made up was like what a Yankee might describe as done up.

Speaking of which, I approached by two prostitutes with an interesting proposal on Sunday evening. Odd stuff, I don't recall even having seen a noticeable working girl in Minneapolis before.

Oh, and thanks, but I'm all set on the meaning of Scouse.

Either you're missing a "was" there or you've got an extra "by"!

Yes, that would add to the curiousity. It should read: 'I was approached by two yadda yadda yadda'
