The following Dodgers have been smited by the JDK for their crimes against Jam:
All the girls! for picking on the JDK and damaging his already delicate self esteem!
The Basserd Who Nicked Copper's Stuff For the offense of nicking Copper's stuff. You are a tw*t, whoever you are and we all hope you get run over by a tram in Nottingham. Or Liverpool. Or whereever else they have trams!
Copper For the crime of playing with her Wii instead of her Jammie pals!
I got a letter from the New York DMV today telling me that they would like to arrest and/or fine me for neglecting to register my car in Florida. They just didn't seem to like that I couldn't get a FL DMV appointment until next month.
So I just wanted to say my goodbyes before I get hauled off to jail. Man, I hope I look good in orange. You guys'll send me Jammie Dodgers with little files baked in so I can break out, right?
That's crazy! Over here, once your car is registered with DVLA (or DVLC - I can never remember which is which!!)that's it - you can move to whatever county you want!!

Well see.. my dumb a** insurance company sent a letter to the NYS DMV that I cancelled my insurance. Which is half true. I cancelled my NY insurance when I switched over to FL insurance. So I have insurance.. just not NY insurance. This obviously got the NYS DMV's panties in a bunch and prompted them to threaten to arrest me.
The story as far as I can tell is that I was supposed to get my Florida license first, then switch over my insurance and get the car registered within a week. However, being that I had never done this before I called up the FL DMV who told me that I needed to get insurance first, then get a copy of my car title, then get my FL license and then get my car registered.. and supposedly there wasn't a time limit on this. Well, being the trusting fool that I am, I listened to the FL DMV, did just what they said, and now I'm getting yelled at. It turns out the reason FL told me to do it this way is because I still have a loan out on my car and in FL if you have a car loan, the bank holds the car title. In NY, the bank doesn't hold it, the owner does. So this whole thing is just a huge misunderstanding, but NY DMV being the notoriously cruel people that they are, don't really seem to give a rat's a**.
The NY DMV cares that you have Florida insurance and not NY insurance while you have a NY registration? Talk about semantics! I suppose if your accent changed a bit all hell should break loose as well...
Did you ask them about Florida's extradition laws?
I'll send some goods if I can get my Jammie mail order system up and running! I've finished the minis and only have like a biscuit left!
Got to the dmv today and registered my car. The lady behind the counter tells me that the registration expires at midnight on my birthday and I need to have it renewed before then.
"You're going to have to remember this yourself," she said. "I don't think they're going to have enough time to get a reminder letter out to you."
