I'd say 5'7"'s the best height to be Katie, I like it anyway!  There's definitley a shortage of suitably tall men out there though (apparentley 5'7" is the average height for British blokes!).

5'9 is average here...

I'm surprised it's that tall And (I just looked it up to cross-check). I remember at a physical my doctor informed that I'm taller than 90% of the American male population.

It's going to depend where you go in the US. I went to school in Indiana, where there were a fair amount of folks from New Jersey, etc... And I towered in the pubs. In Minnesota, everyone's either a Viking or from the Black Forrest and they are tall. At 6"3' I feel like I'm at average height for a dude.

That is good to know KT & Shazzy, 5"7' is a very practical height.

Yeah.  I just get to see the back of the head of the person sitting in front of me unless I take a booster seat.


I get neck ache every day of the week trying to reach up and kiss a six-footer - I certainly can't reach up and kiss a bloke if he doesn't want to reciprocate.

I see - I found a thing on google that said it was f***** up beyond all repair - a US military thing.
