No wedding - just engaged! (and been with him and his daughter for 5 years)
She's just found somewhere she can move out into & so is trying to pluck up the courage to actually leave.

Yeah.  I'm taking the time to design a spotter book for my daughter to use on our upcoming boating holiday on the Norfolk Broads.  I'm enjoying it.  It's my kinda thing.

It's a book with lots of things to look out for.  You tick them off or colour them in when you see them. (She's 4!) 


Like a page full of different types of boat: aft cockpit, centre cockpit, flying bridge, rowing boat, paddle steamer, etc.
Or a page full of things we might have time to do while we're cruising like go to the pub, go to the pub, go to the pub, or even... go to the pub!

I'm picking them up from clip art & some photos of previous holidays.  It'll be a little A5 sized 'workbook' for her. 


I've done one for every boating holiday we've ever been on as a family - they love them! Sweet really. 
Cian (age 9) is getting something more substantial - puzzles, story writing, history, crosswords, wordsearches, boat names spotting, boat yeards...

Lets all go on a digging holiday.  I love archaeology - I love digging.  I really want to find stuff!


We found loads of stuff in the garden of my Dad's old house - clay pipes, china, animal bones and stuff - nothing older than about 1800 though.
