Im with the vickster on this one - i once had someone order black bush and coke. i had to ask 3 times if they were sure, i couldnt believe someone could be so crass as to mix the two - whats the point of buying a nice whiskey if you are gonna dilute it with sugary muck?

Irish or Scotch Whiskey with a little ice is generally my plan of attack, I'll go neat with Bushmills.

Jim Beam? Goes down a lot better with a splash of Coke, unless, of course, you’re a freak of nature. Canadian Whiskey (Rye) goes down best with a splash of Ginger Ale.

What's all this Vodka & coke, Vodka & orange rubbish eh - just drink it with an ice cube.


Same goes for Brandy, Whiskey, Rum, anything really except Gin - there is just no point to Gin - it tastes bad - do what you want to it!

What's so wrong with a screwdriver now and then? Personally, I'm more of a tequila girl.. and usually I take my vodka straight... but sometimes a tequila sunrise or a screwdriver is a good change.

mmmmmmmm tequila - right up there with sambuca!


Have you tried sambuca with baileys floating on top?  It has a rude name and youhave to down it or else you choke a bit, but it tastes very nice!!


I've actually never had a martini.

Rude name? - put lime in it and it turns into a cement mixer - my advice is never try it or you will be quite ill.

Favorite cocktail has to be a white russian, althoug h so many people just dont know how to make them properly, bleedin amateurs

I had a martini once, cant say i liked it that much, tequilla and me usually have a run in once a month - when me and my mate Kate go out but apart from that i stay well clear of the stuff if i can help it, or if it is silver

May I recommend a shot of sambuca, swilled round the glass, Baileys & Tia Maria simultaneously added & then set alight, flame blown out & knocked back in one - can't remember the name.  Actually, I've gone off the sweet & creamy type cocktails & never did like the fruity ones, so cocktail of choice at the mo is a Rusty Nail (whisky & Drambuie)

At the moment me an' the guys I go out with do beer most of the night and finish with a run of sambucas which have to be set light in your mouth - much amusement!

I used to drink Sambuca like it was fruit punch. I've somewhat strayed from black licoricey drinks as of late though. Might try it though Shaz.

A buddy of mine burned this ****e out of his face taking a flaming shot of Bacardi 151.
