That's pretty good stuff.  Makes a change from all that trendy celtic stuff!  Do you show it to your mum?

I know a guy that had the Joker tattooed on his arm.  pretty sad.

Yeah mom's seen them all and she knows about the plans for future work. With my first tattoo she went crazy. I thought I was being all stealthy when I went to my artist, but somehow she found out. My artist only had about an inch worth of coloring left and my mom burst into the shop screaming that everyone who gets tattoos is a f***ing idiot, everyone who gives tattoos id a f***ing idiot...so on and so on for half an hour. I just sat there with my face buried in the chair hoping she would leave. Finally she did and my artist said "Don't worry... just bring her in when she's ready for hers" I was so glad he just laughed it off. She's become a lot less vocal about the piercings/tats now. I've implemented the one comment rule. The first day I get it she can say one bad thing about it (usually "It's ugly") and then all other thoughts she has to keep to herself. But the one in that pic... after seeing it daily for the past 3 years she's finally decided that "it's a beautiful picture, I'd just like it much better if it were on the wall". So I took a picture of my leg against the wall and gave it to her as a present lol!

I'm not really much for celtic designs. I've seen some rather beautiful ones, but they're not for me. I'm much more into the sci-fi/fantasy kind of work... dragons, knights, fairies, castles... that kind of thing. I have a lot of work that doesn't fall into that category, but they're being worked into larger pieces that do.

So are you going for the 100% surface area coverage, then?  How long till you get a Jammie Dodger tattooed around your belly-button?

Well, Stead.  Andromeda's shown us hers... when do we get to see yours?

Not 100%... maybe 50 or 75...

And what's in it for me if I get a jammie dodger tattooed around my belly button?

erm... the prestige of having a jammie dodger tattooed around your belly button...  the envy of your friends...  the revulsion of your mum...

Imagine the practical jokes you could play on your mates:  "Hey, Jeff  - fancy a Jammie Dodger?  Here ya go...  Hahahaha!  It's only a tattoo!"

Maybe you could just sellotape one there.  Same look for less money!
