so i happened to get one for my birthday and i've been playing on xbox live.. my gosh some people are rude on there..
if you're not the most amazing player ever, there's a lot of people don't really have time for you and pass along many insults until you leave the game
yeah, people on XBox live suck. I don't have a 360 but play on the original. Mostly its guys in their late teens who have way too much aggression and self esteem issues.
I want a 360. Or do I want a PS3? Or do I want a Wii? No... I went before I left home this morning.
Honestly... Wii? Why in god's name did they think that was a good name for the damn thing?
Apart from the whole not being able to afford it thing, I'm pretty tempted by the 360. I've heard lots of stuff about PS3 being astonsishingly expensive. The only problem is that all they seem to have done is bring out the same games that I've been playing (badly) for years, only prettier, which kinda puts me off. Aparently the Wii is gonna be a bit more inventive with is bizarre controller.
Yeah, I have heard the PS3 will be something like $800. Hell, buy both the 360 and the Wii. The Wii is going to be pretty cheap (relatively) $225. I am going to stay away from the PS3, just too damned expensive and really arrogant on behalf of Sony thinking they have that kind of brand loyalty. Now don't get me wrong, their will be a ton of people who will buy it but not as many as would have if would retail at
Seems to me that this odd attitude they seem to have over the PS3 is just shootin' themselves in the foot. They should be using the PS3 to flagship their Blu-ray tech. Get one in every house. Make it cheap. But the price and the variations and the delays and the general attitude is puttin' me right off. Course when the first GTA game comes out for it, I'll be backpedalling on that opinion straight away!
agreed. they've really shot themselves in the foot with the delays (when we were at e3 last year they were talking about the ps3 and a year later still no sign) - we were thinking about waiting till november to get one because we have a 'regular' xbox already, but when we hear the price (games=£70+) and the machine price we decided against. (in fact we thought when it came out, the price of the 360 would drop - now they dont even have to bother doing that!)
the wii looks pretty fun, it looks like they're not aiming themselves at the 'serious gamer', more at families and stuff - it could take some getting used to the controllers but it's always good for a laugh to try something new!
