Well why would you put milk in milk?  It's just crazy.  Only a madman with delusions of world domination would  come up with such a diabolical scheme!

I agree with KT's version of the tea making process (incidentally I have a nice mug of tea now!).

Tea bags work in the mug if you do the following:

1. Tea bag in mug

2. pour on freshly boiled water from the kettle

3. Add milk immediately (quite a generous amount)

4. LEAVE IT ALONE FOR 5 MINUTES

5. take the bag out, stir and enjoy.

Leaves are best in the pot.  Can't beat English or Irish breakfast tea.

Milk is good too (on it's own - as long as it's goat's).

You mean there are other ways to make tea in a mug

Apparently (according to my marketing tutor) the average amount of time a tea bag spend in the mug is 30 seconds - just not long enough!!

this is the exact teapot we have in work.. and maybe i should amend my comment and make it 'glass teapot at work'.. but as far as i can tell glass teapots make the tea colder.. and the plungy thing just weirds me out
