All - the JDK is on his way home!


He should have the first let of his flight over with by 1am GMT and be back in the UK by 3pm GMT - lets all think happy thoughts and suck up to the big mythical cheese for a safe journey!

Hah.  Consider it righted.  And thank you all for your salutations!  Twas a grand adventure indeed and included swimming with dolphins, snorkelling off the world's most southerly coral reef, going to prison twice and going out on a pub crawl with the all-female under 25's Perth Hockey team!

Usually I have so many windows open that you can't see the screen, but Kevin just walked in, saw you modeling the cork hat and this is the conversation that followed:

"What the hell is that"
"That is the JDK from the JDBB"
"What the hell is on his head"
"It's a cork hat"
"Why is he wearing a cork hat?"
"Because he was in Australia."
"Is that standard fashion in Australia"
"I don't know I'm not Australian"
"Oh."

He then gave me a weird look that kinda looked like this and then he walked away.

Poor Kevin.


Nobody at all wears cork hats in Oz.  They never have done.  No-one I spoke to could account for the image that all Australians wear cork hats.


That reminds me... I still haven't uploaded my 1001 photos...
