Where did you read that? Canoe polo is mental - its like water polo (well obviously cuz canoeing on dry land aint much fun ) but you are in a canoe, and as such you can get up to quite a bit of speed, and since canoes have a handy pointy ramming spike it can be a little bit painful at times. I havent played since i broked my left arm though (not while playing, that is a whole other story)
