Being back at work after a week off sucks. I'm so bored. My brain is kinda numb. It's so numb I couldn't even think of something interesting to post about. So I'm posting this instead. Good, innit?
I had 74 e-mails waiting for me when I got in this morning. That's actually surprisingly few all things considered. I once had two days off and had 104. Can anyone beat that?

Most likely yes, but would be a silly childish thing to do! :)
And it's really only as I get shed loads of system monitoring emails .... had just over 400 in the inbox this morning, that's for the weekend. Still ... unless they say "ERROR" I can just delete them ... so I suppose that doesnt' count.
Ah, well we get two or three system generated e-mails a day about our data warehouse, about the same about general system issues - virus update reminders and outages and the like and one or two general admin ones for which I set up a rule to delete in my absence. With them I might have broken the 120 mark. Still doesn't compare to your 400 though.
