Seems his Missis has been having trouble:




Julie Carpenter says she was fired from her job as a school bus driver and her neighbors are requesting her eviction because of her religious beliefs as a self-proclaimed ‘witch’. Carpenter is the wife of Jonathon Sharkey, a ‘vampire’ who is campaigning for governor.


"I can't sleep, my appetite's gone,” says Carpenter. “I haven't eaten in a couple of days.”


Carpenter says she never had a problem with her job until last week, when she mentioned being a witch. She says her employer said she was a great driver. Carpenter had been driving a bus for five years.

As weird as they are, she was wrongfully terminated, and that will come out in the law suit. Even if she wore a pentacle around her neck, or said Blessed Be instead of Hello in the mornings, the way it looks here she was wrongfully terminated. If she was wearing a cross and said God Bless to those children.. you think they would think she was a "poor role model"? Because the district isn't saying "no its not a religious thing, she was XYZ" they basically said without saying it that the reason they fired her is because of her lifestyle. Sorry bubba.. that's illegal round these parts.

You gotta wonder if people that do this sort of thing (the district) have any concept of timing... if it weren't for the fact that this guy is running for office in a very public way, would they have even bothered to fire her? She's been with them for 5 years... suddenly she's outted as a witch... and they fire her. Ummm hello?
