The West Wing

Do we have any fans of the West Wing on the board apart from me and JDK?

I used to watch it... then I became so addicted to Law & Order that I've pretty much forgotten about all other shows...

'Lost' and 'Desperate Housewives' are my tv loves - particularly now that you can buy the individual episodes off the usa itunes the day after they are aired there (waaay before they're on uk tv - whoo!)

The Shield starts up again tonight, I don't have cable and had been going to my inlaws to watch every Tuesday for the last 3 seasons

This season I am just gonna rent on dvd when it comes out. Not worth the hour round trip anymore.

The Shield rocks.  FX have shown several seasons of it, but I managed to miss 'em all.  I did pick up seasons one and two on DVD amazingly cheaply though and they're fantastic.  Sadly, season 3 isn't available on R2 DVD yet.  Soon though.  Oh yes...

I can wait.  I have 5 and a half seasons of the West Wing to get through.  And Band of Brothers.

The original CSI series is cool - I don't make a point of staying in for it, but if it's on...

They're also re-running Homicide: Life on The Street on ITV4 which is one of my all time favourite shows.  In the same vein, I recently rewatched the first two seasons of NYPD Blue on FX, but they keep looping back to the first season again.  Give me Season 3, dammit!

I haven't caught any Law and Order.  I'll keep an eye out for it, though.

I do like this show, though I may have watched too many episodes and got a little sick of it...

Not sure, most of my viewing came in 'marathons' where they show a ton of episodes on Monday night... Think I made it up to where Alan Alda is running for president.

Yay.  Hawkeye for President!

I've only seen the first couple of seasons.  Much WW goodness to go.

I've just started watching Band of Brothers on DVD, too.

Yes Alan Alda rocks and I think that put you somewhere near 5/6 seasons Nate - YAY!

Band of brothers remains to impress me after a slow start lol

I have seen quite a few, I really liked the early epsiodes.

What kind of bothers me in the latter epsiodes is how the characters are being mashed into the new administration, it just doesn't strike me as realistic... Kind of makes me wonder why they hauled ass through the 2nd administration if they wanted to keep these guys around?

I have yet to see any BOB, but I have heard good things!

Continuum.

I'm fairly sure that the word was made up for the purposes of Star Trek plot devices.

But hey - at least they will not release the definitive box set!

ER... that's a riot. Didn't, like, EVERY member of the original hospital crew get killed off? Yeah, there's a job I'd want.

Not so much.

Didn't George Clowney just go to Seattle, er, something?

Not a big fan, either.
