RE: My Hoosiers

It concerns me that he has brought up both turd-burgling and cross-dressing in a short space of time.

This is a confusing and frightening time for him and we should be there to support him as best we can.

Bums against the walls, though eh, lads?

Sorry, Nate Mate. I couldn't help it.

FFS, people, basketball, college basketball, my Indiana Hoosiers.

Man, did they look good last night, hello D.J. White!! A man amongst boys!

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/boxscore?gameId=253532429

When he gets into prime game-shape and is playing ~30 minutes a game, look out! I don't see how anyone can stop thisthe only drink worth havingm's offense.

http://www.indystar.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20051220/SPORTS0601/512200450/1069

"I think we got beat by one of the bestthe only drink worth havingms anywhere,'' Charlotte coach Bobby Lutz said. "They're extremely well-coached, they space you very well, and they just execute their offense so well."

"Before this season is over, I think that's athe only drink worth havingm that will compete well at the national level, not just in the Big Ten.''

And, of course, he is correct. Go the Hoosiers!!

As a bonus, my Bobby Lutz quote tipped my hand to the filter theme!!

beer, juice, water, wine, soda, liquor, booze, cucumbertail

Looks like you may have something with your Hoosiers mate, They took my ILLINI last night by a basket (62-60). Sadly I only got to watch the first quarter because I don't have cable and only caught that much of the game while running on a treadmill at the gym.

Go Hoosiers

What I didn't realize when I first started this thread, is that they're going to have to go the majority of the Big Ten season, perhaps the rest of the year without 6'9", 250 lbs., D.J. White, their 2nd best player and a force to be reckoned with.

Still, they did beat the #5 team in the country last night, and they appear to be learning to play without D.J. Did you get a look at Killingsworth 'the Killer'? 6'8", 268 lbs. of brute force on the inside. Can't be stopped by any single player in the NCAAs, me thinks. I was watching the game with some friends, Molly asked "Good grief, who is that huge guy?"

There were some dicey moments, but they pulled it out. Go the Hoosiers!!!.

Quite true, Kate-mate.

Incidentally, my Indiana Hoosiers are playing against Iowa in a nationally televised game tonight on ESPN, 8:00 pm Central, 9:00 pm Eastern. You might want to check 'em out!

Go the Hoosiers!!!.

It looks like it should be air-brushed or ironed-on a t-shirt in 1988 lol

Sorry Katie, pot-shots are all I got now that my team's season is over

How do you cope with such a cornucopia of stats when your teams play.

I'm not sure I could cope with how many RBI 3 pointers my left guard got whilst standing in the offensive area for 6.1 seconds having made a 23 yard gain with three personal fouls and four home runs.

I think my head would pop. Is that why games stop every five seconds so you can take it all in

I prefer stat light football.

Plymouth Argyle won 1-0 last night in their league. 90 minutes of play, 1 goal and not much else. Plus a 200 mile round trip to boot. Now that's fun and don't tell me otherwise.......

NURSE.........NURSE?

ESPN's on basic cable. Couldn't and wouldn't live without it!!

They lost.

I think they'll bounce back, though!

Don't have cable or satellite here either. Have digital through a digibox but fantastically we live about a mile and about 300 feet under a transmitter meaning that most of our TV signal appears in large squares.

My parents have satellite, it's a sweet sweet time when I return to the bosom of my family home and Sky Sports 1,2,3 and Extra. Sweet sweet sport!
