Jammie Dodgers in the news

Doesn't happen very often, but occasionally, our illustrious JD makes it into the pages (web pages!) of the media:

Cameron doubles women's presence in shadow cabinet to four
By Cathy Newman, Chief Political Correspondent

David Cameron underscored his determination to lead a more modern Conservative party by appointing a record number of women to his shadow cabinet yesterday.

The Tory leader, who has promised to address the "scandalous" under-representation of women in the party, has put four women in his shadow cabinet - double the previous figure.

Theresa Villiers, an MP for just seven months, has been catapulted into the top team as shadow chief secretary to the Treasury. A eurosceptic, Ms Villiers made her name as a Tory MEP who campaigned to save Jammie Dodger biscuits from European Union rules. She also saw off a German proposal for dogs to have temperament tests.

Didja spot the JD mention?  Didja?

Here's a pic of the lady herself:

Theresa Villiers

Not a very flattering pose, I have to say.  Can't find much detail on her battle to save the JD, but she deserves a Jammie Knighthood for her efforts, nontheless.  Even if she is a Tory.

Heh, reminds me of an old, rare Phish bootleg I have, with a sweet Harpua on it:

More fun begins in the dialogue between Jimmy and his Dad when Mike substitutes:

"Jimmy, your cat got hit by a comet"

for "It's about your cat, Poster."  After that:

all: "Poster is dead"
Fish: "hit-by-a-comet!"
all: "Poster is dead"
Trey: "Hit  by a comet"
Fish: "hit by a comet!"
all: "Poster's SO dead"

Fun indeed!

I'm sure that was one one of the trailers before a movie I saw recently.  Definitely seen it before - I remember the truck.

She is vaguely attractive and therefore I would vote for her...

I was basing it on other pictures on the net - rather than the one above where she does look a bit basserds (that's f.r.e.n.c.h considering JDKs fliters)
