1. I've never had custard hot, so I can't really make a call on that one, but I always thought, hot dessert, cold topper... like hot apple pie with ice cream sort of thing.

2. Rhubarb is the devil. My father in law loves making rhubarb pie, and he makes me eat it and my face turns inside out and my insides protest and I have to smile and say "mmmmmmm thats so good" while really I want to spit it in my napkin and cry.

3. I too am quite sad that there are absolutely no JD's around for me to visit with either. Even Mandie (Andromeda) went and moved to another state She went where the old people go.

4. You had a 4th point, so I thought I'd have one too. I am not pished at all.

2, rhubard is the BEST food in the world. i LOVE it.. and when i visit in the usa i pay lots of money to buy it from the very few stores that sell it rather than pick it from my parent's yummy rhubarb patch in the garden at their home
3, i used to live near joe, but we never met, and now he doesnt come here often, and i also don't live near him anymore
4, yeah i dont like jack daniels but i'll tell you what i do like - rhubarb crumble AND hot custard AND cold ice-cream all at once - delicious!!!
