We have had a floor move over the weekend - I had to crate up all my books & stuff. The PC I have had some dodgy screen resolution that made everything MASSIVE and since our company have disabled most of the useful stuff on PCs I had to phone the IT help desk and ask them to change it for me.
All of my software has to be downloaded from the network to my hard drive because I don't have a 'standard' build pc so because I have a different pc (apparently it costs too much to move them and I'm not insured to do it myself) I have had to go through getting it all again - my PC has restarted itself 8 time this morning.
My mouse had so much grease in it it didn't work - I shook it, banged it on the desk, told it off and eventually was reduced to actually taking it appart and cleaning with a napkin from the canteen. I can't believe that someone was actually using it before I moved here!
The keyboard is full of someone's old sandwich and the o key has to be hit really hard to make it work!
....I just answered someone elses phone but I'd wheeled over in my chair and nearly fell off it as I picked up the phone and I smaked myself in the face with the receiver!!
I feel stupid (I don't think anyone saw though).
Just have to hope I don't get a black eye! Got myself right on the appley boney bit of my cheek.
