Just be sure to beware the panhandlers!!!. Apparantly, while while swimming in the Ocean, they'll float up on whatever they can find and either ask you for money or try to sell you some crap that you don't really want...

yeah we didnt leave the resort
and people did try to sell us wooden giraffes that we didnt want
but we didnt buy

they dont have to have long necks, you get them other kind with roundy faces and no necks, or bodies.  honest, they live up here, we see them aw the time.

If there are no graffes in the carribean, why the hell are they selling wooden ones.  Souldn't they be selling something more traditional to Jamaica, like, say... drugs?

no i didnt get murdered or catch the west nile virus - i did get bitten about 5 times despite the 3 litres of bug spray i wore a day

jamaica is fun - kinda hard cause you cant leave the resort and stuff, but fun
