A shocking turn of events...

I'm shocked, shocked I tell you, to find that this sort of behavior is allowed to exist in the UK without proper punishment...Here she would be banished to my room for an indeterminate amount of time...spaz...Ben

Such a clean, wholesome looking girl (in the pic on the right anyway).  Who'd have believed it???

I don't like her hair. I want to cut that flappy bang bit right off.

Why do you lot call a fringe 'bangs'? It sounds silly.

Sort of like calling a box of cookies a "tin of biscuits" or changing a person's name from Darren into "Dazza"?...You're right, it is silly...spaz...Ben

Fringe is the stuff that hangs off of jackets worn by country western singers.

I've never called a box of cookies a tin of bicuits. I have, however noticed that americans inexplicably refer to tins of biscuits as boxes of cookies. Weirdoes.

Can't explain or defend Dazza. It's just of those things and happens to all Darrens.

Yes. Notice the similarity?

And another thing... 'off of'? What's the 'of' for there? And 'oftentimes'. What value does the 'times' add?

Meanwhilst, just off of the top of my head, "oftentimes" oftimes serves its own erstwhile purpose to its own ends...evileye...Ben
