What does the tick box icon mean?


Raw egg is indeed sticky when you get it on your hands but I'm not sure about fried eggs - greasy maybe.

It quite literally means that the thread is sticky.  So it sticks to the top of the board and doesn't disappear off into the ether (or page 2 as it is commonly known).  I can make any thread sticky, simply by spreading jam on it, rubbing a fried egg all over it or clicking on the 'sticky' button (which you can't see!).
