Roast Dinners

Following a discussion with Copp earlier today, I'd like the following question answered.  What kind of roast is best?

Where's the Turkey with all the trimmings option? You know, sausages wrapped in bacon, stuffing...

Doesn't qualify as a true roast dinner.  It's Christmas Dinner.  A seasonal novelty.

Anyway.  Turkey is indistinguishable from chicken. Overrated, in my opinon.

I'm a big fan of the Corned Beef Roast:

Hmm, this corned beef roast sounds a bit American...a far cry from the british roast with yorkshire puds.

Does sound tasty, mind.

The corned beef roast sounds a bit like Meatloaf to me which I understand is made out of badgers and old relatives - not prime meat really -

As for turkey - ew! there is a reason we only eat it once a year - IT TASTES LIKE SAW DUST! - it is an inferior meat, dry, tastless and bland - which is why we always need to serve it with other meats and loads of sauces -

Now, yorkshires ROCK! - but they should be served as they were designed in my view, as a started with JAM in it! - sweeet  -

A really nice beef for me is the way forward though - Mooooooo!

No, no, no, not at all. It has more to do with the curing process than the cut, but it is 1 cut of choice beef, not rackoon tails and chicken beaks like in hot dogs and sausages.

Rumor has it that it's Irish, but don't be fooled, it's a North American invention all right. Here's the skinny:

Good corned beef is very tasty.
