hey Z welcome to the board - I believe that there was some talk of sending a care packet of Jammie Dodgers to amanada, so i think that it is only fair that you get the same treatment - this should mean that as many people as possible have experienced the biscuit, while at the same time spreading darrens kingdom

I've just found one of those sites that does British food by mail order.

Funny thing on their terms and conditions page!

I can't be amanada from cananananada cuz if I was I'd have jammie dodgers... well according to darren's site anyway.

Maybe I'll just take a drive up to toronto and steal all they have.. YEAH! I'll break out my face mask and black clothes and climb up the fire escape and set all the jammies freeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

And, you'd use the word eh a lot. And, your two favourite colours would be Blue and Blue Lite. Etc...

New York City is not very small eh. I wonder if there's a possibility of someone selling JDs there?

I'm starting to wonder if a pub here does:

Nice spot, quality offerings, although I prefer my Dad's pastie pie to theirs...

Muggle snack
Daniel Radcliffe, star of the Harry Potter films, once said his favorite comfort food was Jammie Dodger biscuits with a glass of milk.

Luckily, you don't have to go to London to buy them for your Muggle world fan.

Jammie Dodgers can be found at A British Accent, Ohio River Boulevard, near Sewickley.

Elizabeth Gall, owner of the shop (and of a British accent), called to say she carries the biscuits -- chewy jam between two shortbread cookies -- and has customers who come by for them weekly.

Gall sells only products made in Great Britain and Ireland. Besides jams, teas, cheeses, candies and soda, she has hats, jewelry, toiletries, tea pots and cozies and tartans for kilts, which are made to order in Scotland. Call 412-741-8955.

But of course... that's Pennsylvania

You can take your fishnets & stillettoes off now DD.
On the bog-roll theme, are we talking quilted three ply or school issue tracing paper  - there is a slight difference!!!

Hiya command_z - welcome!

On the subject of locating biscuits - does anyone have any idea how one can get hold of a packet of toffeepops?  They were my favourite childhood biscuits and according to http://www.nicecupofteaandasitdown.com/ can only be bought in New Zealand now!!

I recommend reading the biscuit reviews - specifically the Malted Milk biscuit review is a favourite of mine!!
