Hrm... I got a new phone in the most this morning and i'm rather confused by it

I dont supose anyone is good with moble phones? (US translation: Cell Phones)

I chouse a background I wanted for i on a website.. sent a text message off, got a nice message saying you'll get your background in a moment... then it just said 'Connection Error' and it was gone! Have i been charged? and erm.. where is my background?

Please help!

Which website was it?  A reputable one?  There should be a 'contact us' link on it so you can send them an e-mail.  Tell them what happened and they should be able to tell you whether you've been charged or not.

If it's a UK based company, you can tell them that you have not received the service for which you've paid and it's up to them to ensure that you either receive it or refund you.  I'm sure they'll be fine about it - they must get that sort of thing all the time.

Go get 'em Lite!

After fiddling with it for a hour or two last night I woked out that its not set up for internet use..... hrmpf

I guess i'll have to go into a nokia shop and ask them to do it....

Should have just kept my old brick.. er... phone.

You should just be able to phone your provider - orange or vodaphone or whoever and ask them to send you an internet setup text.  It's usually a free call by dialing 150 from your phone.

For some reason, these providers make the assumption that although you've bought an internet capable phone, you won't actually want to use it.
