This is why I love dogs

Cats are cool (especially the Roach) but Dogs do this so much better

If I didnt have to work all day I would SO get a dog smile

I would love a dog more than almost anything else in fhe world, but like you, I'm at work all day, plus the house is a bit too small. I keep trying to convince my dad to get another one (his died a couple of yxears ago) so can have all the benefits and none of the drawbacks, but he's not keen.

That was so sweet

I like dogs, so long as they belong to other people.  They're just like children, except you don't have the benefit of them growing up.

Dogs are like that whether you're gone for a year or five minutes...My evil ex-wife stole my Peke-A-Poos when she absconded with everything else and it was almost a year until I had them back...They knew me right away and were all over me just like in the video...If I go to the store down the street for a newspaper, they're the same way when I get back...Right now they're welded in my lap...petting.gif...Ben

What's more, dogs know whether or not you deserve to get that treatment; when me & my ex split me & Shad had nowhere permanent to live for about 3 months & he ended up in kennels. I made sure I was around at least every other weekend, to take him out for the day on both days (even when the car was in the garage & we had to take the bus), plus we went camping I took him to stay with my parents for a couple of weeks break. My ex, who was still in the area, didn't go to see him once. A while later, we popped in to visit the ex-inlaws & the ex was there - Shad made a huge fuss of everyone else, but totally blanked him! I was so proud :)
