I think Mr & Mrs Smith looks pretty cool, actually.

I went to see Sin City tonight.  It was... FANTASTIC!  Marv rocks!  Oh yeah.

And I just noticed that The League Of Gentlemen's Apocalypse is out, too.  Cool.

I watched Sin City on friday too! Same time as biglet acaully o_O (we both logged onto coh after watching...)

Best movie this year easyly.. Very much like all them old noir movies... well if you add half naked girl... lots of guns.. violence and other such things... not really for the squrmish All in great fun!
Only thing i can think of to say negetivly about it was the car chases seamed slightly unreal and very CGish.
I would also say the bit when marv got ran over 5 times was slighly unreal... but then its marv and hes ment to be a 'ard bastard.

9 out of 10

He is hard.  As hard as they come.  Three cheers for Marv!

I was also impressed by the sheer number of times Hartigan got shot before he finally fell down!  Very impressive.

The CGI was nice, but cartoonish.  And I think that was the point.  They were trying to portray a kind of unreal feel to the whole thing, which was reflected in the style of the dialogue and the cinematography.  Plus - the whole thing was made for a fraction of the cost of most similar movies, something Rodriguez is obsessed abut - he's trying to prove to Hollywood that a great movie only need to cost £40m instead of the £150m these things usually cost.  And his editing facilities and music stuff he does in his garage!  Quite right too.  Well done that man.  I've been a fan since El Mariachi.

The good news is that Rodriguez and Miller are already planning the second movie based on 'A Dame To Kill For' and others.

Which leads me to another point, Lite... you rememeber when you said that Marv took on Manute in 'The Big Fat Kill' and I said that they'd left out the first half where that happened?  Well I was wrong.  So were you.  The bit where Dwight and Marv storm the bad guys place is in ADTKF, not TBFK.

It's gonna be great!

not seen yet, but am pretty sure I'll like it - any babysitting volunteers?

or can you take babies into age restricted films based on the understanding that they won't know whats going on so they can't be 'influenced' by it?

oh wow! Thats so cool biglet! I cant wait :3

Hrm.. if it was a cheep film how come there were so many famous people in it? The casting was pritty weird really.. i mean frodo is in it as a canibal insain person.. and there were varous other girls that i've only seen in romantic slush before. Its great to see them trying new roles but quite off putting to start with! But cheep is defently good.

You have to go and see it santa :3 Baby would be ok until the point when he/she starts crying his/her eyes out for no aparent reson... then you'll be hated by everyone else in the cinima

I should think that most of the big names in the movie - specifically Mickey Rourke and Bruce Willis were there because they wanted to work with Rodriguez and/or are Sin City fans.  Elijah Wood ain't exactly a 'big' name - let's face it, he's only 'famous' for Lord of the Rings and that didn't exactly stretch his acting talent.  This sort of thing is good press and easy work for 'em.

Oh... and Santa.  That baby in the cinema thing.  I hate you already.

Haven't seen this yet. The Swede said it was one of the more gruesome movies he has seen in some time.
