Anti Nazi Propoganda


So, I was quite amused to come across this cover image on the front of the latest Captain America comic:



It put me in mind of how pop culture was blatantly used during WW2 (and many times before and after) in what we would consider a horribly racist fashion:



Not so bad, I guess - Cap bashing Nazis! But he's not the only superhero doing a bit of propoganda!



Then there was this little masterpiece from Disney:



I'm sure Ben will remember this all from the first time round!

Does anyone else have any examples?

Donald Duck had nothing on Warner Brothers' Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny...But the best of all were The Three Stooges as represented here:

Moe was great as Hitler but Curly really had Il Duce, Mussolini down pat...
The boys were equally good at portraying the Japs:


But this next one is my favorite:

I may not be quite as old as Darren infers, but I started watching them as soon as my folks could afford to buy a TV in the fifties...batting...Ben
