I just tried Dex on some broccoli but he's just playing with it... does it have to be cooked I can't tell from the video at all...

Raw or cooked it doesn't matter... the spinach calls to Mr. Kitty (don't laugh at his stupid name lol) Maybe try that instead of broccoli ;)
