Hat Trick

This little tid-bit was on the back of my bag of crisps:

"The term 'Hat-Trick' originates from the gentlemanly game of cricket from around the 1870's.  If a bowler took three wickets with 3 sucessive balls, he was permitted to remove his hat and take it amongst the spectating crowd for a collection of small coinage.  Over the years, the term had become associated with many sports in which a competitor manages to pull off a feat 3 times in a row - such as scoring 3 goals in a single game of footie."

Fascinating...

Going for a hat trick...

Does 3 chins count?  I could probably manage that if I ate enough pies...
