Somethings wrong with my computer.. :( can any of you geeky people out there help? :)


when ever i turn it on i get these 3 thingys come up



what do they mean? o_O


also my broadband internet keeps cutting out! It did it 3 times yesterday while i was playing City of Heros.. most annoying!

Well the first one, nvsvc32.exe, is for your graphics card...


Try going to the NVIDA website and downloading the latest drivers for it - that may help (although I think you did this already didn't you?).  If not, they should have a tech help page that may help you sort it out.  The problems with CoH are probably related to this cos it's a pretty graphics intensive game and if the drivers aint working properly, then you're kinda stuffed.


Have you had problems with your broadband cutting out at any other time?


As for the other two... no idea.  They could be related to the nvida problem.  Have you tried sending the error report to microsoft with the 'send error report' button?  This usally links you to a web page that explains what the problem is and how to fix it.

I'm not a geek, so take this with a pinch of salt, but I think the last two might be due to some virus/spyware.  Have you got adaware?  Run that a few times and see if it finds anything nasty.

ok i'm downloading some  NVIDA drivers... but its going to take a hour! i'll have to leave it on when i go to work..


it very rarely cuts out with webbrowsing.... but it did once or twice. Most the time its just with the game.


What is Adaware? i'll google it

Try scanning your computer with "Spybot Search and destroy"


You can find it at http://www.safer-networking.org or http://www.spybot.info


Make sure you have the latest detection rules installed.


If you have never scanned your pc with a program like this, don't be suprised that it will find a large number of "problems"

i think the problem might be your desktop background, look at how bright and frightening it is!
