Just wanted to pop in here. I just noticed that the old group moved over here. Sorry I've been gone so long, but that is a good thing right?? I've been working at a new job since the end of last october and am much happier here. Not only do I no longer have to commute, but the hours are better and the work is more rewarding. I hope everything has been fantastical with everyone!

Actually come to think about it you are right Everyone in my place is on the lookout for another job, pay is crap and so is the respect - if you arent a doctor you dont get none!
Actually, I know a few Hospital-based doctors. They don't get any respect either. Presumably there is someone within the NHS that gets all of the respect... WHo could it be? Is there a conspiracy?
Ive just remembered who gets all the respect in the nhs - its the people who dont get called Dr any more, just Mr - yeah thats right, consultants - some of the stories ive heard about them are frankly scary! They do what the want and when they want and only see the patients they want to - if things dont go their way they throw a tantrum and toss their rattle outta the pram!
