The following Dodgers have been smited by the JDK for their crimes against Jam:

I think I'll give Chrome a bit of time to bed in, since it's a complete unknown at the moment. I'm sure it'll be super though.
As for Internet Explorer 8, I noticed last night that my laptop came with an installer for the beta, so in a fit of madness, I clicked. Then I discovered that it was almost exactly the same as 7, except for some pretty coloured tabs! So far so good.
Before you download Google Chrome, read this from their EULA:
By submitting, posting or displaying the content, you give Google a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free and non-exclusive licence to reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute any Content that you submit, post or display on or through the Services. This licence is for the sole purpose of enabling Google to display, distribute and promote the Services and may be revoked for certain Services as defined in the Additional Terms of those Services. This, in effect, nullifies any copyright you might have thought you had on what you produce...I think I'll pass...Ben

Its a good point. Intellectual property is a minefield. Its actually not possible to 'copyright' anything in the UK. Not in the sense of a patent for example. If I write a song and lyrics, I can call them copyrighted to me - but all I can do, if someone rips me off, is take my development material and recordings etc to court to prove I had created these before the other bugger released them.
When I owned my studio in Somerset, we had an intellectual property lawyer working for us because we dabbled in music distribution so I spent a lot of time talking to him about this stuff. It kinda sucks - there should be a place where you can lodge your content, they confirm time and date of lodgement and therefore you're protected.
Tricky one!
