So answering another thread on a different forum led me back to this site

I'm still in the top 0.5% of the worlds wealth - which is nice - but what shocked me was that 35% of the worlds population live on less than £1 a day... thats nuts.

I guess I forgot to announce it...I sold my business...Signed the agreement in May and closed the deal last week...So I'm officially jobless...I haven't decided whether to work again or not...I'd hate to outlive my money...confused...Ben

I just took a count...Four handguns, two rifles and a shotgun...Not enough to go into battle with...The personal arsenal got sold last year to finance the court battle against my ex-wife...Only the lawyers won that one...Ben

Can you see what you did wrong there?

There was a cheaper and quicker solution lurking in there all the time!

My personal credo won't allow murder no matter how justified...Defense of self, property or others is another matter...I'm satisfied to be done with it and maybe I'll be a little more choosy if there's a next time...Ben

I wonder if anyone has tried to justify murder on the grounds of defence of property? "But your honour, if I hadn't killed her she'd have divorced me & taken everything I own"...

Well, we do have the castle doctrine law in place now but I would not have wanted to be the test case to see how it applied to divorce...As we say here: "You might beat the rap, but you can't beat the ride"...Ben
