The following Dodgers have been smited by the JDK for their crimes against Jam:
All the girls! for picking on the JDK and damaging his already delicate self esteem!
The Basserd Who Nicked Copper's Stuff For the offense of nicking Copper's stuff. You are a tw*t, whoever you are and we all hope you get run over by a tram in Nottingham. Or Liverpool. Or whereever else they have trams!
Copper For the crime of playing with her Wii instead of her Jammie pals!
OK so I got to thinking today - what is the best song ever written. Not necessarily my favourite song right now, or even my favourite song of all time - but the BEST song ever written. When you sit down and think of the words, the melody, the structure, how it flows - that sort of thing.
I mulled it over long and hard and I came to the conclusion that its probably, one of mine! no, it isnt sorry - I was just being silly - I came to the conclusion that is it probably, for me, Bridge over troubled water.
There is just something about the song - it lends itself to different arrangements and voices and apart from its many awards is one of the most covered songs in pop history.
So, what is yours!?

House of the Rising Sun, maybe. Did you know that you can sing the words to 'Amazing Grace' to it? And presumably the other way round, although I don't know why you'd want to...
I've always had a great fondness for 'I Can See Clearly Now', originally recorded by Johnny Nash (although I own the Jimmy Cliff version and have been covers by Bob Marley and numerous others). When I'm feeling down it cheers me up and it's just generally a feel good tune to me.
I personally think that if a song has had loads of covers that probably means it's a good one in most people's ears... I just did a search on google for 'most covered song' and it came up with 'Yesterday' by the Beatles...

Funny, when I first read that the song I thought of first was this one:But it's not even the same one...It is one of my favorites, however...And so is anything else Roy Clark ever recorded......Ben
