Oops.

I came across this story on another forum... made me chuckle...

Arabic Tattoo
Could someone please advise, I got a tattoo put near my naval from a professional tattooist in Manchester, with the name 'SIMONE' wrote in ARABIC.

However yesterday i saw to asian men laughing at it in the street and i asked them what was so funny, They informed that the ARABIC tattoo actually says "I'm Pregnant" instead of SIMONE.

Can someone please advise my rights regarding the tattooist who done this!


Later on in the thread someone posts:

As Simone is a name and not a general word it may be difficult to geta genuine translation as all you could do would be substitute letters

To which she replies:

Thank you for your help...It looks exactly the same as the "I'm pregnant" symbol you have posted!..The Bastard!!! he really has tattooed that on my stomache...I can't believe a professional tattooist would do such a thing!

Now, I can't decide if I should be laughing at her for being such a moron, or sending Stead and his crossbow after the tattooist...

Take 'em both out...Neither one needs to pollute the gene pool any further...

As a side note, I have never liked tattoos but my niece, who is now living with me while attending college, showed me hers on her lower back...It is also in a foreign language but at least is spelled correctly...I can think of few things more embarrassing than a prominent misspelled tattoo and I have noticed plenty of them...Ben

I enjoy my tattoos... save one.. and it was a total impulse doing, and I am embarrassed by it. yes, its in another language, and for all I know it reads "Stupid girl got stupid ink"... which I suppose, by my own admission, is exactly what it says. ohmygod.gif

I'll get it covered up eventually..

I dont mind tattoos if they are sensible in their content and placing. I have a small one and its cool (and unique) - I dont even mind if someone is covered in them as long as they're not my doctor or lawyer etc - but that bird makes me laugh because she didnt check out what she got in advance!
