Well it depends really on the rules of the fight. Weapons? Jedi Powers? I think the edge goes to Darth in both cases anyway. If Weapons were involved, Darth could just blow Opti up with the death star or some big battle cruiser. And Opti ain't no Jedi, 'nough said

Indeed.  Op could sneak up on Darthy disguised as a truck and then take him by surprise by suddenly tranfsorming into his 50 foot robot mode and stomping on Darth's head.  He'd never see it coming...

I would also go with Gozer, remember the Ghost Buster never killed him/her they just crossed the streams and sent her back to her own dimension, the could acually kil/destroy/whatever Vigo

What always cracked my up about the Ghostbuster movies is that you can tell they completely changed their target audience from the first through the second movies. In the first movie, Ray and Winston are smoking through the entire movie, in the second, not a single cigarette in the entire movie. I guess they did not expect the first movie to do so well with kids.

I reckon Terence Stamp would camp it up, Priscilla Queen Of The Desert syle and then, just when Doomsday thought he was dealing with a puny little poofter transvestite, Terry would quickly switch to General Zod mode and use his super powers to lob Doomsy into the sun.  Job done!

Of course, Kirk has his universal thump-someone-in-the middle-of-the back-and-down-they-go technique.

I would have to go with Solo. Kirk would just be looking to stun with his phaser while Solo would just nuke em (blow a firey hole in his chest) with his blaster. If just hand to hand then I would give it to Kirk, that thump in the middle of the back thing seems to put down even the nastiest Klingons.
