On another board I'm on the topic of your country's universal dislike for celery came up. So I'm just curious what your thoughts are on it ;) Is it really that offensive?

If you do like it... how do you enjoy your celery? Raw? In Soup? With peanut butter and raisins?

If it is true that you hate it, why?

I quite like it in soup or in a sauce - I dont see a problem with it. If more people ate celery there would be fewer tubbies around...

I like celery... I like it in soup and chopped into salads - cooked and raw. However, I'm not sure I would enjoy eating a whole stick of it on it's own without lots of interesting dips, it can get a bit hard going after a while chew.gif 

I know for a fact that the JDK can't even go near the stuff - it makes him sick bleh.gifbatman.gif

It's great in a salad...I also like to fill a stick of it with pimento cheese and eat it raw...Good stuff...chew.gif...Ben

I like eating celery just as it is, but I don't mind dipping it in stuff. Not fond of peanut butter on it though...

JDK's reaction to it is much the same that I got from people on the other forum, which is why I thought I'd ask here too.
