Yesterday, I came across this picture of Arnie on the set of Conan. Given that Arnie is 6'2", these guys are gargantuan!



After a little bit of digging, I discovered that they are:

Wilt Camberlain, a 7'1" professional baskeball player and Andre Roussimoff A.K.A. Andre the Giant, a french pro wrestler.

Big chaps! Although I'm not sure Andre's costume is particularly convincing...

I recognised Andre (RIP) but not the other chap -

I dont think Arnie is actually 6' 2" - if you look at pictures of him and Stallone (who is 5' 10") he certainly isnt 4" taller probably 2" -

Having said that both Arnie and Sly have 'official' heights that have always been disputed by those who meet them -

Interesting...I was going to comment that Andre was in street clothes because he was not in the "Conan" cast, but then I read your link and found his part was uncredited...Good links...Ben

His official height is 5' 10 but I reckon he's 5' 9" from the anectodal evidence I've seen...
