The Ultimate Ownage!

You may have come across this on other forums in the last week or two.

Some guy joins a car forum and starts bullsh*tting about how he financed his car, basically spamming the site with links to his own online gambling site.

This understandably riles that other members of the forum and so they're less than kind to him. By the light of the full moon, it turns out that this guy is an utter nobsicle as he spouts all sorts of nonsense, denying that he owns the other site and...

Well, this post summarises it all quite nicely. Basically the forum users discover that this guy is some sort of sex offender and start ripping into him.

If you have time on your hands, the original thread is here . It goes on for pages and pages as the story spreads around the web and people sign up just to see what the fuss is about and to add their own two pence. I found it quite compelling reading and very, very funny, even after the first 5 pages of ownage!

So my advice to you (and possibly quote of the day)... if you're a paedo, stay away from Danny Ocean! nod.gif

I remember a similar thing where an American TV show setup a sting with hidden Camera's to catch men coming to meet young girls and one guy turned up in a red sports car he later tried to sell online via an owners forum website, one of the members of the forum recognised the car and outed him.

I'll see if I can dig up a link.

I see that the Urban Dictionary associates it with Bugs Bunny. Well, if it's good enough for the mighty rabbit, then it's good enough for me!

Remember this thread? Well the ownage of this guy continues. It now has it's own website where you can buy t-shirts and hats and an entry in the Urban Dictionary: "To be absolutely owned online in the worst possible way, usually involving mugshots and links to a user's sex predator website." biggrin.gif

Oh, and Bugs Bunny continues to be awesome!

Rocket who??...They usually came on right before the weekly episode of the Tarzan serial followed closely by the Hopalong Cassidy main feature (sometimes a double-feature)...I used the Pathe Newsreel to go refill my Coke...
