It is a sad day really - VCRs are great - I think you'll find that DVD-Recorders have more failures too as do the discs!

Ahhh.  Last night there was a new one on the 'new and used' link for £85.   I call that cheap.


Still - you're comparing price to those cheap and nasty £30 dvd players that only play ****e movies and, most importantly DON'T RECORD!!!  I don't think £160 is 'expensive' for the product.
