I've had a great week for new stuff!! I got a new rollerball mouse at work which everyone is jealous of because it lights up, then I got dual screens - how cool is that - I have 2 17in flat screens on my desk at work now!! people keep coming to my desk and going "Wow - how did you get those?". I just put in a work request to see if it would get signed off and it did - hey presto dual screens - my dvd writer is being installed next week!! To put the icing on the crumble (as it were) I got a new phone - hoorah!! My lovely shiny new Ericsson K700i. Was a free upgrade too. If anyone's after a Panasonic X70 I now have one for sale!!
Ok, so the joy at getting the new stuff is wearing off. Apparently I should be able to do twice as much work with two screens. I have pointed out that for that to work, I also need two pcs and two keyboards (and therefore four screens). Has everyone seen the bit at the beginning of Swordfish when he's trying to hack something and he has that huge bank of screens in front of him? That's what I'm going for!!
